What makes you happy:
The positive energy and motivation in training make me particularly happy. Especially if elements and ideas that we might not have believed ourselves to work perfectly after a while. Plus the indescribable feeling that comes up during and after big shows. The moment when the pressure of recent times and the many trainings drops and you know that all the effort and time have paid off. Pure euphoria!
What makes you angry:
Especially if I don't manage to motivate myself. These days when you just don't feel completely fit and act half-heartedly.
What was your biggest Freaks-moment for you:
It was probably back then when we received an inquiry from Bahrain and everything that was supposed to come out of it. Back then, it was one of the biggest international trips for us. We really had an indescribably exciting time with great shows. Shortly before our trip home, we learned that we should return for Formula 1 a few months later. It was like in the movie!
How was it for you when you were accepted into THE FREAKS?
Above all unexpected! I met some friends on the eve of my sighting training. Among them was Markus, who has been on the team since the very beginning. After a long back and forth, I let myself be persuaded to come to the sighting training the following day.
Since I had never done gymnastics, knew nothing about acrobatics and a lot of other participants were fighting for a place on the team, I saw my chances of joining the team as practically nonexistent. Nevertheless, I did my best at the sighting training stations and had at least a few exciting experiences.
However, what happens in the hours after the sighting training, in which the team advised the participants of the sighting training, still seems extremely puzzling to me today. I don't know how but when I saw Markus again a few hours later he told me that I would have made it somehow. I think he was almost as surprised as I was back then.
What is your favorite thing to do when you're not with THE FREAKS?
Since I have always liked to move, I spend a lot of time in the gym and with various team sports such as beach volleyball, soccer, spikeball, etc. I also deal with video and photography and spend a lot of time with my friends.
